Water
Analysis

Water is the most important factor in maintaining balance in nature. Unfortunately, like all natural resources, water resources are under threat of depletion. Today, the issue that environmental scientists focus on most is the protection of water resources. In the solution of this problem, it is necessary to address the issue from many aspects, including economic, political, social, cultural and health. At the point reached today, it has become almost impossible to find clean water in nature. The wastes left to nature due to industrialization, urbanization and agricultural activities carried out irresponsibly and unconsciously pollute the water resources irreversibly. Both groundwater and surface waters such as lakes, rivers and seas are incredibly polluted.

Today, while healthy and clean water is defined, it is defined as water that does not contain toxic substances and microorganisms that cause diseases and that contains necessary minerals in a balanced way. Today, the waters are so polluted that clean water has become one of the basic conditions for ensuring food safety. Not only drinking water, but also the water used for dishes, laundry and cleaning poses a danger to human health.

As such, water analyzes carried out in authorized laboratories are of great importance. A wide variety of measurement, testing, analysis, inspection and control services are provided in order to ensure safety in waters.

There are many legal regulations published on water quality in European Union countries. Within the scope of harmonization studies, these regulations are also adapted to our domestic law in our country. For example, the Regulation on Water Intended for Human Consumption published by the Ministry of Health regulates the principles of ensuring the quality standards of water intended for consumption and the production, packaging, labeling, sale and inspection of spring and drinking water.

According to the results of many researches, the consumption of fresh water in the world is faster than the process of formation of water resources. Underground watersheds are getting smaller and smaller. Water resources are under threat of depletion given the increasing population. According to the calculations, the demand for water in the world will increase by up to 60 percent by 2050. On the other hand, water resources are getting depleted due to climate change, deterioration of ecological balance and global warming.

The main water analyzes performed in our laboratories are:

  • Physico-chemical analyzes

  • Microbiological analyzes

  • Water quality analyzes

  • Seawater analyzes

  • Pool water analysis

These analyzes are performed for water at the source, treated water, water in distribution systems and stored water.
